When I was a little girl, I remember this time I learned to write and I loved it! I remember writing down everything I could on each piece of paper I found and show it to my momma.

Maybe you too are fascinated into writing and if it is the case, cutie pies, I encourage you to write by learning how to journalize your thoughts and prayers.

Today I would like to talk with you about journalizing on a regular basis, what will help you to spend time with your Jesus.

Let us put TV, video games and tablets aside and let us concentrate on the things that Jesus through Paul calls “true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious ” | Philippians 4:8 (MSG)|

I think that what really matters today, girls, is how to make today with Jesus the most effective for a better tomorrow. And what a better idea than to write to Jesus in your journal and to interact with Him as you do with your best girlfriend?

If you found this section of my website and you are between 8 and 13 years old, you need to understand that you are in an carefree age but as you will grow up, life can become more difficult and challenging. And I would love to teach you to ground yourself in Jesus before you end up all squeezed and dried up! Writing to Him in a journal helps a lot. You will see that Jesus loves when we tell Him our stories and life.

Learning to journalize with Jesus is to learn how to be real and honest with Him and talk about your day and concerns in the most simple way.

Girls, Jesus is YOUR friend and what does a best friend do in time of need? He listens as we talk/write.

In your journal, you can write down anything you want from the desire to have a dog for Christmas to the desire for Jesus to guide you toward your husband to be (Oh yes, it is already a subject to pray about). All subjects accepted! Remember this: Jesus is not here to judge you, He is here to help you.

You can write down even when you get angry at mom and scream, when you feel guilty or when you are frustrated with your siblings and don’t share toys. It also works when you said something bad about a friend and you know you shouldn’t have done it. You can write all this down and tell Jesus that you don’t want to sin anymore. Means, you don’t want to do it your way anymore, but God’s way.

Jesus simply wants you to be honest with Him because He is a trustable friend. And even when the world around you doesn’t understand your needs or your sadness or questions, Jesus understands and cares for you because He says “Are you tired? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest.” | Matthew 11:28 (MSG)|

A way to get away with Jesus, is to write into your journal 🙂

From the morning till the evening, Jesus is with you and writing down in a journal is like materializing an actual talky talky with Him when you come back from school for example 🙂

Why not starting today? Ask mom to buy you a journal (in my shop for example :)) and start writing down everything you would like to tell to Jesus. It’s going to be an amazing adventure!

In the next article, we will talk about writing letters to your future spouse. I bet girls you all dream about the perfect prince who will come and save you on his white horse 🙂 But I would like to encourage you to dream about your future husband in a different way than the Disney movies…

Stick around with me, for I am coming back very soon with my next topic.

Love you cutie pies!

Remember that for Jesus you are Loved | Precious | Priceless.
