Who never intended to give up in trials? I mean, we are not superheroes right?

I like the idea of me in blue leggings, red belt and high heels like Captain Marvel but unfortunately real life catches me and by the end of the day, I am only Kathleen a tinny French girl with no Marvel super power at all 🙂

So YES, I understand you girl if you feel like giving up in the storm you are going through right now and it is OK to feel this way some days.

Perhaps you are lonely for years now, waiting for your husband to show up. Or perhaps you have been abandoned by your fiancé just a few weeks before your wedding day, as it happened to me 10 months ago…

Whatever your trial is, it is OK to feel weak and about to break down because you are human and not perfect.

If like me, you are going through abandonment or a big rejection, you need to know that a broken heart is as painful as the suffering a body can endure physically. You don’t believe me? In fact it is true; studies have been made and publicized in 2011 and 2012 by The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and by the association of Psychological Science of the university of California on the subject and have demonstrated that the pain caused by a sudden break up / rejection / abandonment activates the same regions of the brain as those governing physical pain. And I can confirm this because I have been going through the most painful moment of my life the past year and the suffering was so unbearable in my body and literally felt like a physical pain, that even physical pain itself would have been ‘enjoyable’ comparing to my heart’s suffering.

Now, again I tell you, as we are human and as we totally hate pain, we always will have the tendency to either avoid the pain and move on as fast as possible (what is absolutely not a solution) or to give up and…let ourselves die (what is definitely not the solution)!

But girl, THERE IS HOPE, because THERE IS MORE behind the scene of our lives!

Here comes the sunny bright part of my blog spot today: We have a better solution and His name is Jesus Christ!

It is important that you understand the power of Jesus. Girl, when you give your heart to Jesus, it is no longer you who live but Christ who lives in you! (Galatians 2:20). If you have the power of Christ in you, then you are a hundred times more powerful than Captain Marvel, She-Hulk and Ms.Marvel all together! I mean hey, we are talking about the God of the universe here! And this God wants you to succeed in life!

But there is one thing you need to get rid of and it’s the lack of perseverance. Feeling like giving up on some hard days is one thing and as I said above it is OK, but really giving up because we don’t press on and persevere is another issue.

The failure to persevere is the most common problem in prayer and intercession. And giving up is admitting failure and defeat. Defeat then leads to discouragement and doubt in the power of prayer, and that is fatal to the success of a person’s prayer life (cf: Streams in the Desert)

I know it sounds weird, but if you want to get out of your trial and succeed, you will first have to lay down your bags in it and to go till the end of the process whatever-it-will-take-you!

This trial will be used by God for His glory in a way that will surprise you beyond measures girl! But to get the price, you will have to run the race (1 Corinthians 9:24) what means you will have to PERSEVERE in prayers.

Whatever you ask God for, pray in prayer! Do you want to heal for brokenness? Press on in prayer. Do you want to meet your husband soon? Pray for him and press on in prayers and petitions to God.

Don’t expect things to come in one week. I agree that one day is like a thousand for God and vice versa. I agree as well that God can set us free from addictions or else in half a second. What is impossible for us is possible for God. But God expects us also to press on in the desires he placed in our heart and to see a faithful people in action!

Take courage and press on in prayers.

When satan accuses you and tells you that you are a loser, that you have been rejected because no one wants you, that you have no value otherwise your fiancé wouldn’t have broken up with you, DON’T LISTEN! Those are lies. And unless you place your mind captive to the obedience of Christ and know the value you have in the eyes of God as His child, you will never win the battle.

So today I am telling you:

You are valuable, you are precious and THERE IS MORE waiting for you if only you press on in faith and prayers.
